I hope not.  If this year's Comic Con gray pegasus is anything to go by, they'd make her a Fashion Style which I'm not collecting...

And I suspect the basic Playful Ponies brushables are too small to make worthwhile exclusives for a gathering.

I hope that they make her a full run. She's so cute as a G4. I don't know what it is about her. I wasn't a huge fan of her as a G3. I mean she was ok.....maybe because I'm such a huge G1 Minty fan. lol. But, I am so smitten with her as a G4. I *still* have $6 set aside for her. lol. I guess I'll be sending an email. Maybe we should make a facebook fan page for her too. Then we could send hasbro a friend request!

There is really no reason she would need to be a convention exclusive. There is no retooling that needs to be done, she doesn't have a color scheme that would be expensive to do, and there is no controversy around her that would keep her from being sold in stores.

If this year's convention pony is any indication, then I think HB are catering to a slightly different market. Its generalising a little but Minty appeals more to collectors who have been around since before G4, where HB's convention pony was very much geared at the brony market. Yes, there are cross over between collectors collecting G4 and bronys collecting earlier gens which is fantastic. However, I think convention ponies seem more likely to be FiM favourites than previous gen G4 ponies.

Question:  I keep  looking on Hasbro's page for a place to email them about Minty WITHOUT registering for an account.  Is this not possible?

No, it doesn't look like it. I just used an email from 10minutemail and a fake address to remain anonymous. Registering didn't take long, they didn't even send a confirmation email. You could try snail mail if you really want to avoid registration, though.

I am a huge fan of the G3 MLP, Minty. I loved the little plastic "blind bag" figurine of Minty in the G4 line as well. A message board I frequent, My Little Pony Arena, showed an image of a prototype toy of Minty done in the G4 style. Gosh, she's so adorable! I've seen a few on Ebay, but the last one went for $400! I'm attaching a photo of the pony I saw on the message board.

Please make a G4 Minty brushable toy! She is such a fantastic color (Love that green and pink! She looks like sweets!) and she's got the most adorable face.

I love that you've been listening to the voice of the fanbase lately and making such great character toys as Nightmare Moon and Lyra Heartstrings. I've collected so many of the G4 brushable toys (all the mane 6, Luna and Celestia, the Friendship collection from Toys R Us, etc) and I really, really want to add Minty to that collection. Please put her into production! Thanks so much from an adult pony fan!
