Well it looks like this party is a bust after a few hours.  Something tells me many are without power and can't use the internet as even wireless goes down.  Hope everyone is safe.  No one has posted at all since like 4.  Hugs... Been through this a few times and its really not fun.

I'm hoping the morning is bad enough to close work, but not horrible enough (or clears up enough) that we can get to hubby's pre-op appointment.

Sadly work doesn't like to close until after heck has frozen over... :(

They had all these warnings out for here and not a thing happened. A little rain and some minor wind.
Even with all the warnings, my boss forced two employees to stay in the store overnight and do their normal work even if the power went out - he told them to use flashlights  :mad:

I am afraid not everyone will be that blessed to have had lots of warnings and nothing that bad happen. I have seen some pretty serious damage and horrible losses in NJ.  Thats just wrong of a boss. That sounds like something my husband's boss would do.

We have a lot of family in NJ that are still without power-  so scary!  We are worried about my partner's 93 year old grandma- the phones appear to be down.  Someone is checking on her today-
