Last weekend the OH and myself went to north Wales for a few days. We we went for long walks in the countryside and spent a day in Llandudno, which is a seaside town with a pier and arcades etc. Baby Quackers came too! As did a small Rainbow Dash. Here are some choice photos of the holiday:

These are all from Llandudno. I was afraid to put Baby Quackers on the pier incase she blew away  :shocked: as it was really quite windy. I also found a terrifying fakie & some stuffed ponies on sticks (which I don't really understand) whilst on the pier:

Gazing out to sea from atop a wooden mushroom (Llandudno has a lot of Alice in Wonderland stuff as it's where the real Alice Liddel went on holiday as a child)

Phew!

I also rescued a beanie baby unicorn from a charity shop basket of toys here, she was only £1 and I felt bad that she was left in a charity shop so I rescued her  :blush:

  What gorgeous pics! I can just feel the cool damp weather. *happy sigh*
  I think the ponies on sticks might be so you can "walk" the ponies like on a leash? I've seen those with dogs and exotic quadrapeds before, but those are usually with thin wire "leases" to get the wobbly effect. I'm not sure how well the big thick sticks there would be. Unless someone decided wire "leashes" were too dangerous? *shrug*
  Maybe they're just so you can give someone pony love from across the room!

:lol: I love that idea! I wish I'd bought one now, I could take it to parties and pony people from the other side of the room with it!

Thank you :) We had fairly nice weather the second and third days for the time of year, both were nice and sunny. The first day was a bit wet in places but nothing a raincoat and some sturdy shoes wouldn't protect you from!

Awwww, Baby Quackers looks so sweet in her little romper!  All set for the playground. ^.^  Great photos, Enolaalone!  Makes me want to take Ember out for pics... :P

My son is saying he's very glad he's a boy, or he just knows he'd have been dressed in floppy hats like that to go play when he was little. :lol:
