Okay, I'll kick off the wish lists

Hello to Cookie's lovely swap partner.   You might think it's a little odd to be buying toys/presents for a stuffed toy, but Cookie (or Cooks to his friends) is a lot more than that!  Here's a bit of background on him:

He's approximately 26 yrs old (which techniquely makes him a little old for the swap limits, but hey - he's a monster so the mods have let it slide).  He is my best friend and he goes everywhere with me… and he’s also a tad spoilt!

He has a number of interests and collections, the main ones listed below:

Star Wars – he collects action figures, lego minifigures and cards. 

Lord Of The Rings – action figures, lego minifigures, cards

Snorks – plastic toys (like smurfs, but Snorks!)

He is also a big TV fan.  Some of his shows are rather adult natured so you might want to shop for any memorabilia from them yourself rather than leave it to your child!  He watches Spartacus, The Walking Dead, True Blood (fav character Eric Northman).  Anything cards, stickers, action figures, post cards etc from the above would make his day!
Because he lives in New Zealand there are a lot of things we can’t get in our country.  If you are worried about doubling up, then anything Target exclusive is a pretty safe bet.  Also, he has nothing against second hand/vintage.  If you want to send him a box filled with nice condition action figures you have found at an op-shop he will be just as happy

A little known fact about cookie is that he actually doesn’t like ponies at all. (I think he gets a bit put out when I spend all of my money on them rather than on his interests, and he dislikes the attention they take away from him!)  So please, no pony items!  LOL.

Cookie’s mother (me) is currently on a diet so if you want to add candy please keep it to a bare minimum as he will only drag it around with him for a few days until I eventually eat it, lol.

Okay, I think that about sums up Cookie.  If you have got this far and don’t think I’m completely cuckoo then I take my hat off to you!  I hope you enjoy shopping and wish you a very happy holiday season

I don't know Kiwi, I feel a bit weird about that last photo in the children's swap even if he is 26.  I think I will have to call Monster Protective Services on you.

Serious question:  Is this year a random swap or are we sending a present to the child who is sending our child a present?

I have been asking my kids what they want, and they've both been very conservative with their wish lists.  Lily has only said one thing.  Christmas doggy toy.  Remy wants a note pad and one of those paddles with a ball attached.  So who ever gets my kids is going to be saving heaps of money

I think that would probably be nicer for the children.  It will be easier for them to understand

Hmmm... My daughter's wishlist will be a little tough to come up with. She's not so much getting the concept of a $10 limit, everything she's naming off to me is more around the $20 mark. I may have to post a more general list of the kinds of things she likes.

Xeevee, are we talking a christmas themed doggie toy, or a christmas themed stuffed doggie?  Did that sentence actually make sense? 
My 7yo has yet to come up with a specific list, she changes her mind in the process of changing her mind.  However, she loves Ponies, especially baby ones.  Nice body condition, hair is no issue as mama can easily re-hair. 
She also likes crafty stuff like rhinestones and beads. 
She just started watching The Saddle Club tv series, I would LOVE to get her started on the books as well.  Supper cheap on e-bay.    This is the first non-animated tv show she has shown any interest in, so that is huge! 
Loves stuffed horses/unicorns/dogs/cats like most little girls, the snugglier the better. 
Candy, her faves are M&Ms and Skittles, also most gummies and Sour Patch stuff.   Does not do dark chocolate, nuts or black licorice.     
Something tells me that Cookie Monster would get along well with my hubby.

I want to join for my daughter! I think she would love making a package for someone else and getting her own swap package!

As for her wishlist, she loves the new FIM ponies but doesn't have any of her own, so I wanted her swap box to focus on ponies. So any of the brushable G4s she would like, mane 6 or non-mane 6. She told me her favorite pony is Twilight. She would probably love any of the little wedding sets that are $10. Her favorite episode is the Diamond Dogs so I'm sure she'd like Rarity as well. Any other FIM stuff she would love: coloring books, stickers, etc. She is very girly, she loves anything sparkly or glittery. Her favorite candies are anything chocolate (she takes after her mama ), she also likes lolipops. She is allergic to gluten, so no wheat, barley, rye, malt, or oats please.

I would love to have her partner include things about how they celebrate the holidays so she can learn about how other families celebrate. We celebrate Christmas and would love to do the same for our partner if they would like.
