WOW AWESOME!! SHE IS REALLY GREAT AT HAND SEWING! I WOULD PROBABLY HAVE TO START OVER A BUNCH OF TIMES LOL my hand sewing leaves something to be desired.

I've been working on a Hoodude on and off.  I'm terrible at finishing things.  I get distracted WAY too easy   I'm using some old clothes my husband was getting rid of.  A blue shirt of his caught my eye and inspired me.  I am really disapointed with Mattel's Hoodude.  He's a bit.....chunky?  And what's with the stitched on eyes?  I'm using a baity GB Jackson as a skeleton.  In theory, he should move just like a regular doll.  Oh!  I was also inspired by a Detroit Lions pom pom at work!  Gonna use it to hair him:)  I think my version (if I EVER force myself to sit down and work on him......) will be very satisfying for me.  The fabric types I'm using will feel better than felt, and I won't be able to stop running my fingers through those pom poms   Plus, actual buttons

I'm in ! Need to inventory my ribbon stash, and buy the felt, stuffing, and pipe cleaners. And watch the video and his episodes a couple more times. But I have tiny brads to use for jacket buttons, plenty of tiny buttons for eyes, yards of needles and thread already, and I certainly  have the interest and antici.....pation ! Hers looks so good ! Better than the Mattel one, if ya want my opinion.

And to think, I was gonna ask for the SDCC version for Christmas, as my big, huge only present. I may have him as early as late next week ! I'd start Saturday, but I already have another project on the slate.

I can't wait to see everyone else's !
