What is the deal with NC ponies?

I was looking through my bait box, and found a Mommy Sweet Celebrations with no country stamped on her foot. o.o it says '84 Hasbro, and that's all.

She's not in terrible condition, either - just needs a cleanup and shampoo. So what is the deal with NC ponies? Are they HTF?

She is made in Spain. Worth more than her HK version, but not a lot more.  Her eye liner may be thicker and her colors slightly off. Still a neat find. I would keep her

Keep her, just for comparisons! I have a few NCs, they are a lovely addition to the herd

she is spanish and worth only a touch more than her hong kong/china counter part she was regular issues through out europe along with the hong kong and china versions

some NC ponies are much harder to find and more sought after, but the family ponies had a pretty large run along with NC sundance

There are quite a few countries that didn't always mark the feet! Can make things a bit confusing, lol. As the others have said, your girl is Spanish, and was fairly widely available across Europe, but is still cool
