Working with 'Non Photo Blue' Pencils?
« on: October 22, 2012, 07:48:34 AM »
So, today in the post my box of col erase pencils came. I brought myself a box of 'non-photo' blue.
Does anypony on here use this type of pencil?
I brought the Prismacolour 'col-erase' type if that makes much difference, what sort of paper do they work best on? And any other tips you might have would be really useful?

I used them when I was in school for cartooning, they're great for sketching.  I would suggest a smooth bristol paper.

Thanks, I did buy some new paper in the end which is a smooth cartrige paper and they work really well on there. The paper I had before was a bit too thin for the pencils to work properly.

They're nice to work with and flow much better than a normal pencil I've found.
