More MH Hair Mysteries Revealed

Very few of the girls change their hair colors so this list will be more contained.
I'll work on completeing this list but I know some things for certain, some things I need to investigate further. Only girls with Saran hair are listed here. I'm also going hold off on the girls with mostly black hair. RD supposedly has two different blacks where the texture and sheen are different, I need to investigate that more but RavenBlack/CM Midnight should do. My colors are based on dollyhair's colors at the moment.

Primarily Spectra and Cleo's blue, though I'm aware it's hard to figure Spectra since she's the purple kankelon.

Spectra is doll-grade kanekalon... I don't think anywhere sells an exact match. If you want to reroot her in saran, I'd say that Vineyard Violet and Wild Lavender from Dollyhair would be a good bet, but it won't match the original texture.

I was actually planning on making a list like this, but my collection is still on the other side of the country til next month. I will help you out a lot once I get my dolls here. I researched a bunch and the only thing that I found out that you don't have listed is that Sherbet Pink is the closest match to Draculaura's pink.

You should combine with this post and put Clawdeen's section under a cut, just to keep everything in the same place. I also think it's safe to say that Basic Cleo's brown streaks are Bitter Chocolate Brown, but I haven't been able to confirm. For Lagoona, I know that her DDG and RM dolls use different shades of blonde than her Basic and SS; it's far more yellowy. I'm assuming your match is for her older blonde color?

I have several dolls that need reroots and I will be investigating color matches for (in order of importance): GB Frankie (I could look into the blacks if you don't do it first), Basic Lagoona, GB Clawdeen, and Basic Cleo
I'll proceed to the rest of my collection after I get matches for those.

Cleo's blue and Nefera's hair is saran but I have never seen a color like it listed on either DH or RD (to my immediate recollection). I stated my list was for saran hair only. Draculaura's streaks are kanekalon as well, and therefore has no available color match. Sherbet Pink is close but not quite right. Nylon Sugarberry is also close but still not quite right. Therefore, while I have used Sherbet Pink in a full reroot with black, I wouldn't recommend adding to it with Sherbet Pink.

As for Spectra. I concur with Vinyard Violet for her top layer would in stead suggest Foxglove Lavender for the under layer. It has a more matte finish that would work for Spectra better but that's just me.

I still have a lot to do. I will look into DDG and RM Lagoona's hair but the gel they use on hair can distort the color a bit. I'll know more definatively soon. I don't have much in the way of green so I have no idea what the RM green streaks are (yet)

It is. I just got him yesterday and he's next to Nef in my display, and their hair is the identical color of teal.

If it helps I've matched Abbey's streaks to Tea Rose, Wisteria or Amethyst and Water Nixie.
