Hair mostly dried, this was after two hot water rinses in the tub. I really should do a boil, but eh. I like the curls and the poof. Besides, it fits her.

Oh Icicle, she's adorable! and I just noticed where you are from because of the circle K cup! I live in the Spring Hill area of Florida, we're practicably neighbors. -giggle-

Haha! I'm more outside of Tampa (middle of nowhere, sob) but still close! I am a big soda addict so the 69 cent sodas are my vice. I can nurse one all day. Also seeing Howleen being just barely bigger than the cup is amusing, teehee.

Yup, I cut the legs off her Dance Club duds and hand-hemmed the leg openings. Ow, sore fingers. But I like how it looks. Haven't done anything to her hair yet save for pulling it back for the photo.

Have ya'll noticed how soft her hands are ? Some Jakks Pacific Ballerina Disney Princesses had that same material for hands years ago, and I loved it. Glad to see Mattel using it now.

Whoever designed their new outfits deserves a medal or something. I never would have even dreamed of having a robot doll with an eyepatch as a child @__@

Is that a Terra figurine I see 

I recently made my own rerooting tool (it was surprisingly difficult to find a wire cutter...) so now I'm breaking it in. My Cupid is in less than perfect condition with her glue issues, so she's the perfect subj...candidate c: I have another doll who is plagued by the same glue problem (an Ariel doll also Mattel made) so her hair is getting recycled to give Cupid an extra flair.

I love this!!  I do like Howleen but didn't like her hair up like it is in DC.  I haven't messed with any of my dolls hair yet but after seeing this picture I think I'm going to go grab a howleen and do this!!  So this was just with hot water? 
Plus after getting Catrine I think I need to learn how to do the boil/rinse to get all that "gel" out of her hair too!!
