Gave my dragon girl a makeover because, well, I was bored. She's been blushes with pastels and repainted with acryllics.

I was worried about that too, which is why when I saw the sisters pack at Target today I couldn't resist nabbing it for some faceup shots.

The good news is their skin tones appear to be pretty much the same! Sister pack Howleen's face is a little shinier, but I think that's just excess gel from her updo.

I'm glad they're the same too, because I have a weird thing where I refuse to keep the lighter of any two versions of the same doll ^^; It just seems wrong!

Both Howleen's are adorable, but overall, I definitely like DC Howleen better. I always like the lighter, more natural looking faceups and I just adore her pink hair.

I think I like the original better but not with her stock hair. The DC doll's hair just isn't the right shade of pink for me.

The collar and overall style remind me more of a stylized Chinese qipao, I think. It's a great look for Ghoulia :D
