non-pony selling help...
« on: October 15, 2012, 02:07:09 PM »
I haven't touched my old DS since I got an iPod touch. Seeing as it's been sitting around gathering dust for the past few years, I decided I'd like to try to sell it. It's in good shape, still has the stylus and charger (and a nintendogs skin), plus I've got around a dozen games. Also have a few GameBoy Advance games, as well.

So my question is, what's the best way to go about selling it? I'm... skeptical about eBay, honestly. And I know that being a brand-new seller can be tough when you're trying to sell a decent sized lot of electronics. I know GameStop offers to buy old games/ equiptment, but I've heard that they're notoriously cheap unless you get paid in store credit. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Do you think there'd be any interest if I post in the Sales board here (I trust the pony community so much more than eBay!) Thanks, and mods please move if this is in the wrong place!

I'd say Craigslist or maybe the paper classifieds. With the holidays coming up I'm sure someone would buy and then you don't have to lose on fees like eBay.
I'm not really on here anymore. Email me if you need my for something.

I agree with local sales/Craigslist for video game stuff, definitely.
