I finally caved in and bought my first Monster High dolls. My boyfriend already thinks the ponies are a little weird. I do not know what he will say about this. LOL 
I decided to get the CAM witch/cat set. That was my first choice. I was unsure if I liked the cat girl, but I love her now that I see her in my hands! I bought her a Barbie dress that is pink and black leopard print. I need to alter it a little of course and make a tail hole. She now needs a wig
I got the set at kmart for $20. It was the last CAM set they had.
I looked through the other dolls. I was tempted to get Rochelle, she was my second choice, but most of the dolls they had left had smashed faces and pushed in noses! They were messed up.
Anyway, now I feel like making stuff!!

Also, I went by Big Lots and they had a bunch of Monster High costume stuff. So if you are into that you might want to check your Big Lots!!

ETA: My witch lady seems to have one leg that is a little tiny bit longer. I am pretty sure I got it all the way in there.... any suggestions on that?

Secondly, about that leg, there isn't anything that can be done, it's a factory flaw, Mattel ocassionally replace things like this, you could try contacting them?

Hm, I think the leg will be fine. It is not too noticeable when I adjust her stance. I was a little worried I broke her! LOL

Hi Im new to it all too! I just love love love the Witch/Cat set though and like you I wasnt sure about the Cat but just love her now! The Witch is one of my favourites and Id love to get more haha I was only going to get one MH doll.. but now have 5..oops!!

LOL... I am hoping this does not end up like my pony collection and I have monsters everywhere.
Luckily my boyfriend was really cool about it. He was even helping me make doll clothes... He is such a sweetie.
I still have not gotten the cat ears to stay on her head though. I clip them to the hair and they flop over. GRRR!!

I think you all are right. It is a slippery slope and my pony box now has a Monster High box on top of it... uhtoh.... so it begins....

That's okay Wildblue, I can't even understand why you wold fall in love with the cat girl in the first place, haha! There is onlymone I have ever liked and she was painted a rooted byna member here, with those horrible whiskers taken off.
