Would you be interested in hand made custom real wood roomboxes ?

Hey guys..So I work at a cabinet shop right now, and work is reallllyyyyy slow. My boss had an idea of making doll room boxes to make a little money on the side. So I come to you, with questions!

1.What dimensions would you most look for in a simple open face room box, if you were to buy one? [We're talking simple real wood stained boxes, possibly with little feet]

2. Would you have any interest in a wooden room box that has the ability to fold down or disassemble for easy transport?

3. Since items might be bulky, what [if you have experience with this before] would you personally expect to pay or be willing to pay for shipping costs?

4.Would you have a preference of an open top/open face fold down/disassemble wooden room box over an open face wooden roombox that does not disassemble?

Help an opnions would be great guys. We have lots of material and stains, and can get pretty trims and such...If you have pictures of room boxes you like, I'd love to see them..Any information or suggestions from doll collectors would be great, especially in reference to what you would pay for the sort of item you might be looking for?

It sounds like a good idea, do you have any pictures/sketches to show as an example?  Shipping might be awkward, but it sounds cool!

I'll try to get some sketches together tomorrow. I'm think maybe one that folds down would be best for shipping purposes so I'll especially be trying to get something together for that.

I would absolutely be interested. They sound super nice. This might be a dumb question, but would you be thinking smaller boxes for one doll or larger boxes that multiple ones would fit in?

I think that's a great idea!

I personally would love to see a two/three sided box on rounded 'feet' (similar to wooden doorknobs if this makes sense?) possibly with a window in.

I think they would be better flat-packed as shipping them would be a nightmare otherwise.

I'd be interested as well. I think it would ship easier if it folded flat

1. Probably a one foot by one foot

2. I would. I think it would be easier to have something that can be easily taken apart.

3. Yes I would pay for the shipping costs if I were to buy one.

4. I would prefer an open face wood box that doesn't dissasemble.

Thanks guys. I'm gonna try to get down there this week or next and put together a few prototypes. Box size would just depend on what people are looking for. I'm really liking the idea of a flat folding one, so I'll see what we can come up with.
