Gill Hunting thread - keep an eye out at Walmart

Cool! SO glad to hear he is being re-released!  I saw him only one time and am kicking myself for not picking him up- I had no idea he would sell out and stay sold out

I was told he isn't being re-released though, some websites claim they found him in clearance sections as the stores had one left over.
I'm hopeful for people, it would be really lovely, but I think scalpers are also selling them on ebay- I've seen too many on ebay today I hate scalpers, decent, kind people deserve to own Gil!

I've just emailed Mattel and asked them to confirm if the original case assortment is being shipped out, and if it'll be send out to the UK and Canada. I know that the UK stores are still getting SS in, so hopefully in a couple of days I'll have an answer.

Checked all the usual stops and while there was every other SS doll there was no Gil to be found. Keeping my eye out for him and my fingers crossed I get to him before any scalpers!

Checked Walmart last night just as an employee happened to be opening a Skull Shores case, but there was no Gil. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he's making the rounds again and it's not just old stock being pushed out in the instances of people finding him lately.

I was one of the lucky ones to have found him last November, but if I do see him, I'll definitely grab whatever I find and pass them along to members here. I still have yet to see Robecca or Venus in stores though.

Actually a whole bunch of Targets seem to have him in stock, if their online checker is to believed. Including every single one near you, rayedelsol. So y'know..if you happen to be passing and they have any...

Nope, they were all SS Ghoulias..... I'll keep looking, and I'll try to make it by the local Wal-Marts tomorrow

I'll be on the lookout for him as well. I don't want him for myself (holding out for a signature!) but I'm happy to pick him up for others if he reappears here.

Checked a Target that said they were 'in stock' with no sign of him. Checking a few places tomorrow...

Mattels not really helpful email said that SS is being shipped for the remainder of 2012. I know that Argos and Tesco in the UK have taken them out of the online stores now, but that's not surprising.

Sounds like a false alarm then. I'll go back to waiting for a signature version to be made.

Does anyone have a barcode or something for me to give to people to check their stock with? I think it may be a false alarm.
