My bobobie espree.....white or normal? Please help!!!!

I'm a bit concerned that my new doll is super white, when I ordered normal skin ( and the normal skin doll in the pic looks much darker than my girl)

This is something I noticed later on....there's something im not really liking about her: first I thought it was her face up as she is so plain, then I didn't like her eyes so I'm getting her blue ones.

But then I realised, I'm not liking how white she is....especially as I thought I was getting a darker skin version

I'm actually a bit disappointed, because the longer I look at her the more I'm not that into her. I feel kind of bad that I feel that way too, as I've been so looking forward to getting her especially after she was held hostage by customs for 9 days

I think she just needs a heavier face up, and I'll be happier but GAH, I feel so disappointed about it.... I've messages DDE to check if they have sent me a white one by mistake.

I might be wrong but think that's the normal skin tone. I have two of there really small dolls- one in normal skin, who looks about like yours and one in white who is very-very white! Like she matches paper...

I could be wrong but I think normal is that pale and white is like actually white. Hubby's Isabella is really pale and he ordered normal too.

I just looked at the pic on DDE and I think it's of a white and a light tan.

Nope, that's Bobobie/Resinsoul Normal skin! Their white has been described as 'paper white'.

Yep, Bobobie/RS white is super glaringly white.  You got the right color.  Stock faceups are often disappointing from the ones I've seen.  I think if you get her a nice faceup and maybe even have her body blushed, she will look more natural and hopefully you'll bond to her better.

I second the face-up idea... Bobobie/Resinsoul face-ups are really underwhelming... A face-up and body blushing could do wonders.

Agreed with everyone else. BBB/RS face-ups are really basic defaults with not much personality. Working on a doll or having a doll worked on by someone else can work wonders with bonding.

If Wolflair is around, maybe she can share before/after shots of her Mei.  She's white-skinned and the blushing made a HUGE difference in her appearance.

I have two Bobobies, Gang & APOLLO. I'd have to look at Apollo, but Gang Boy is close to me, and according to the invoice receipt he's Fleshtone. I and my local bjd& pony friend like a white skin tone best, guess that's why she bought my Island Doll Damien, but your bjd doesn't look stark white, just light. My Normal Skintone Florian looks different in different lighting & even when I moved him 4 feet from his previous place.

I would definitely say she's ns not ws.
bbb/rs white is super white.
I'm sorry that you're not liking her 'cause she's paler than you thought she'd be, but I can just say to be careful and look at owner pictures before you buy next time 'cause bbb/rs in particular take kinda crummy sales photos and different types of lighting can really effect the way that a resin color looks in photos as opposed to how it looks in person.
