Dyeing doll wigs?
« on: September 25, 2012, 11:26:13 AM »
I have a couple of Liv wigs, but they're not the color I'd like them to be. Is it possible to dye the wigs? If so, what do I use and need to know? Will it stain the doll?

If the color of the wigs is light enough you can dye them using acrylic ink with some rubbing alcohol. (regular paint just ruins them though)

I tried it on the blonde liv wig for a monster high doll using the ink method and it worked... it just ended up a lot lighter than I thought it would after rinsing it out and washing it and all that.

Not sure about staining, though. x.o

What about fabric dye or human hair dye?
