I have too many ponies

That's right. I admitted it. I have so many ponies that all I can do is display them shoulder to shoulder rather than having a cute scene setup. So what do I do about it? Sell them to you? No. I'm switching my master bedroom and pony room around. I don't need the big bedroom seeing as I consider my bedroom a place to get away from the clutter. It also solves the noise problems in the winter because my master shares a wall with the utility room for the apartment and the water softener and such are in there clanking away when it is below freezing in the winter. I can only move a shelf or two a day as I work full time, but by the end of the week I should have a larger pony room. The only problem is my ferret is not liking being locked in the bathroom all night because I have stuff strewn everywhere I don't want him getting into.

Awww I think you're taking best advantage of your existing space.  TOO MANY PONIES is when you start house-searching because you already have a pony room and have no other rooms to move it into.

I think it sounds as though you are making the best situation - more room for ponies always a good thing. As others have said you ll need to post pictures of  your room when its done.

haha I know what you mean. My shelves are full. I mean, no more squeeze room either. I just got a couple G1s at a meet and they won't fit with the rest of them. no idea what I'm gonna do!

I have too many also and I don't display all of mine because I am paranoid about too much light contributing to their aging process so mine are tucked away in a wardrobe that I keep the door cracked.  When you open it...pony heaven.  Sadly..all crammed in, but I plan on adding more. LOL  I keep my blind bag ponies in a container.  My petite ponies are out on display, my g3 ponies are in bins unless they are a favorite then they go in the wardrobe with my G1's.  I plan on switching wardrobes soon..I have a bigger one in the dining room.

I disply mine like that too. I don't have large enough shelves to display mine better, and there's no room ro use as a pony room, either. Also, there is no such thing as 'Too many ponies'.

My dream house would have a massive room that has shelves floor to ceiling on all 4 walls that are glass covered to protect from dust etc. And in the middle have isles like in a library so you can have more shelving space there too, And I would be able to display every single pony I have! And still have room for more!

Yes, THAT might  be considered too many ponies, hehe.
I am beyond room, I can't even find a place for the blind bag ponies, and I have to rotate half my collection (while the other half is stored in plastic tubs in the closet). But too many ponies? NEVER!
