TAF Love Melody grey/faded eyes?

Hi all,

I got a bunch of ponies last week (yay!) and in them was a TAF Love Melody (also yay!) But she looked a little odd to me. It was not until yesterday that I realized why. Her eye lashes aren't black like all my other G1s, they are more greyish... maybe even faded looking. But the rest of her doesn't seem faded... here is a comparison shot of her and Minty together, so you can see what I mean:

Anyone else have ponies like this, or know what causes it? I'm also not sure if I should repaint her.

I don't think she's faded. Some ponies just have different eyelash/liner color.

Combination of different sets and batches [the two ponies you have pictured were manufactured 4-5 years apart after all] and a little bit of fading and deterioration in the paint She doesnt have to be all over faded for one particular section/colour to be more affected by the light than others. Her hair looks faded to a lovely off pink white so I would guess she did have sun exposure at some time.

You could certainly repaint her if you prefer but honestly I think she looks lovely the way she is and probably the same as most other Love Melodies. But she is your pony so your preference

Yes, she does have faded hair as well. I really do prefer white hair over pink, and have already started to think of white hair as her "usual" colour, haha! So I forgot that it's supposed to be pink!

I think I miiiiiight still repaint her. I like the contrast that the darker eyes provide and I think she looks a bit weird with such pale eyes. But I'll only repaint if I'm confident about my ability to do so... never repainted eyes before! Rehair, no problem. Painting? Eeeep...

And I am the same with Lickety Split - I just think of her having white hair now as well lol!
