Hello from Nebraska!

Hi everyone!  I am 28 years old and live in Nebraska (USA).  I have a degree in accounting and currently working in the banking industry. 
  I have 2 sisters, I'm the middle child, so I've had my little ponies since I was a child.  I have always loved horses and My little pony was my favorite toy growing up.  I started collecting the G1 My little ponies again about 2 years ago; after I was diagnosed with cancer.  I've been in remission for just over a year and very happy I started collecting the G1 mlp again.  I've told my older sister she can have all the care bears we had growing up and I'll take all the my little ponies!  I'm still working on getting her to agree to that one!
   My husband collects all things "The Beatles" and thinks I have too many ponies...my answer:  "You can NEVER have too many ponies!" Though I have lost count of how many I have!  I have a large amount of my ponies displayed in a curio cabinet; but I have been looking to get 2-4 more curios to display the rest! 
   Almost every garage sale, estate auction, or thrift store I find my little pony pieces at I end up buying.  I LOVE the colors of the G3 & G4 ponies.
   The one pony I have really been focusing on to find right now is "Hushabye" from the Soft Sleepy Newborns set.  I have "Sweet Dreams" with all her accessories and "Pink Dreams" with no accessories. 
  I'm looking forward to making some new friends w/other MLP collectors!

I agree, you can never have too many ponies!  I'm glad collecting has helped you through some hard times.  There is nothing like ponies to help cheer you up.  Enjoy the forums :cheer:
