I joined for G1 LPS, but I'm getting taken over by ponies too!

This past few days I have become involved in a few forums (trying to find where we 'belong'). I am 29, and have never experimented in the forum world before. Of course I have read the rules (which just seem like 'common sense'), but I'm sure I will make a booboo here or there with the 'what goes where' or repeating a topic. I will do my best. I am picking it up quicker than I expected, but still lacking some of the terminology.   

About me:
As a farmer, I have many animals (Including ponies!) surrounding me day in and day out, but they don't come in the cute palette of colors that 'some others' do  . As of right now, I think growing a stable of cutie-pie ponies (pun intended) will have to be 'reined-in' to drooling. I have two little girls in my life, a daughter and a niece. I am happy to support this new generation of G1 Littlest Pet Shop enthusiasts! Rebuilding and growing one pet shop (the daughter's), while constructing a second (the niece's), has sparked a new and addictive hobby for me of resurrecting sets out of the 'lot's of parts and peices we acquire. 

What I am hoping to get out of joining a forum:
A) I would like to feel a little less silly... By finding others who enjoy these little guys too, and sharing the delight.
B) Have a place to ask for help when needed. Likewise, help others with their G1 LPS! Not to sound snooty, but I 'knew it all' when I was a kiddo, and retained a surprising amount of info. Though I'm not sure what time I scheduled that dentist appt. next week...? LOL
C) I hope to find avenues to buy and/or trade vintage Littlest Pet Shop (sets and parts/pieces)!

Maybe, just maybe, this could be 'the one'...?

Thank you for the welcome! I found the LPS spot, and have been poking around  . I kept drifting off to go look at ponies though. I loved my ponies from when I was kiddo (the 80's)! I would love to collect some in the future. Maybe after I get the girl's squared away with the G1 LPS?

This is a great site for info on Ponies, LPS and doll collecting.  We have a lot of collectors aged in their 30s+ (myself being one of them!) so if you want to meet like minded collectors then you shouldn't have any trouble fitting in.  If you have any questions don't hesitate to drop either myself or one of the other mods a PM.  We are always happy to help out

Hi there, Nectar. I love those original little pets. Still have them back in AZ, no doubt. My favorite one was the hamster cage with all the fun tubes and things. Not to mention those cute little pet carriers. Oh man, I'm starting to want to call my dad and have him mail them to me!
