:whoa: WANT!! :whoa:

Ahem :silly: I've seen a similar fakie to her, but she's pink with purple hair (identical otherwise). I've seen a few of this other one, but not the one you have :awake: If you might sell her let me know ;)

I have that exact one. If I recall correctly, I've seen another coloured one somewhere online but it had the same symbol as this one. I'm positive it's a fakie, but it did trick me until I got it out of the bag of thrift shop ponies! It's just a real shame it has no prayer of standing due to the pose and it's squishy plastic. I found mine a couple years ago, no clue how old it is.

Nice! They almost look like prototypes though. Regardless of what they are, the colors are very appealing.

I'd be a little hesitant to call them prototypes, since there's at least 2 of each and none have actual eye gems like the prototypes did in the pictures on backcards and such :) They are cool though, and I love the colors of the white one :lovey:

Oh interesting! It looks that other pink one there is a different brand of fakie based on the eyes. These two white ones have just one purple colour for both symbol and eyes, but that pink one has three colours for her eyes... but then again, I just dug mine out to inspect and she also has a second "Made in China" stamp on her hoofbottoms like described on that pink one. Considering how poor quality mine is I almost wonder if she's a fakie of the other fakie. Or maybe the same company decided to cheap out on the paint even further.

Other notes on close inspection which don't show well in the picture:
The green and blue are actually slightly different colours between the tail and the mane.
The symbols (yes on both sides) are much more vivid then the eyes.
The plastic of the head is quite hard, while the plastic of the body is squishy and if you look hard enough there's actually teeny flecks of glitter in the body plastic. The glitter is so minuscule you don't notice it until looking closely.
Her tail is rooted plugs in the usual fakie way. She's got a circle of blue plugs, then a row of green added over the top of the circle.

I don't believe she's a prototype because of the way her feet are stamped (Hasbro would have still used their moulds), the rooted tail, the monotone eyes (not even white tamped there), and the cheapness of the plastic. Plus she can't stand and wouldn't be great for product shots.

As for the question of trading her... well I'm just not sure. I'm not heavily into G2s OR fakies so I really should pass her on, but somehow her uniqueness has appealed to me and she's never made it on to my trade list. I'd have to think about parting with her.

edit: Another note on prototypes. I'm in Canada and dede88 is in NZ, although technically possible two prototypes somehow made it to two different countries, I highly doubt it.

I was reading on fakies last night and some people actually used Hasbro's moulds for them.

Her symbol also looks suspiciously similar to Sweetberry's.

Aw, those playsets are cute! Interesting how the bedroom set has G3 brushes and art, but a G2 fakie.
