I think it's awesome, you treasure the things you're emotionally invested in. That's healthy if anything.

I just have my stuff tucked away in boxes in the closet, that's an example of "screwed up".

Nope, not weird at all. ^.^

I only have a small space for display and lots more ponies than fit in it, so my DS and I take it in turns to decide who'll be out on the shelf.  We try to be very fair about who gets a turn out, so no ponies' feelings get hurt.

Anyway, it's the emotions with which we invest our toys that make them more than just lumps of coloured pony-shaped plastic to us, and make them valued, collectible, and loved.

Wishlist - I'm back on (semi-) active buying again... can't buy everything on my wish list all at once (yay, back-to-school and tuition fees), but I am still looking to plump up my collection a bit more: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,380638.0.html

I think that is so cute!  The great pony adventures they must have!  Your pony room sounds just wonderful!  I sometimes feel that same way when I carefully clean and restore a neglected pony all the while imagining how much happier they must be!  I think it is nice to have a litte imagination in life!

Never feel bad about that, it's dear you do that for them. I've always have had a soft spot for the ponies with mishaps since I think they feel sad or unloved being like that. In the end I buy these misfits when I find them and give them some "TLC" thinking that they will be happy again. :)

Not weird in anyway at all! I actually think really sweet...and very polite of your ponies to put themselves away again in time for you getting up in the morning :)

I don't think that's weird at all. I take care to arrange my ponies so that they can easily talk to their friends... and I have bought ponies simply because I felt they would get along well with the ones I have.

My BB Pinkie Pie never seems to make it up on the window like the other ponies... she's always just lying there on my desk every morning. Oh Pinkie... I think you have a party problem.
