Activia yogurt
« on: September 21, 2012, 08:28:26 AM »
Ok, I'm not sure this is the right place for this, but here we go.

Has anyone eaten this?  I thought I'd try it, and it's day 5 and I feel like I'm dying!!  My insides are killing me:(  Seriously digestive system, why you no like me?

Jamie Lee Curis didn't say anything about bad stomach problems in the Activia yogurt commercials!

I'm sorry I hope you feel better *hug*.
I've had Activia yogurt and I've never had any of the gut wrenching stomach pain you described.
I don't know if it's working for you if it's causing you extreme pain.

wow, maybe you body doesn´t like that much lactose?
i heard that activia is mostly placebo and the rest ist just regular yogurt, no more. but with your reactions, i guess there might me something you body can´t work with? maybe see a doctor?
do you react on other yogurt the same way?

I love yogurt, and have never had an issue with another brand!  Strange, right.
My insides feel like I have a bird flapping around in there.

I have the exact same problem with Activia, I don't have any problems with other yogurt.

I visited a doctor recently for other reason and told me to stop eat anything that contains lactose because I seem to be sensitive to it, so it may be my problem with Activia. But then I don't have any problem with other yogurts >.<

Maybe there's more lactose in Activia? I dunno but that doesn't sound good! I think you should probably stop eating it until you talk to your doctor!

While yogurt is good for most people (is easier to digest than milk, good for colon health, can boost immunity, etc)
I think you should listen to your body, we're all built differently!
Perhaps an organic yogurt would be better for you? Maybe Activia has to many additives?
If yogurt in general doesn't work for you how about try drinks like Yakult or Kefir & my fave Green juice with fruit?

Take care love!

I've eaten Activia and never had that problem (and I eat yogurt every morning for breakfast!)

I would talk to a doctor and see if there is something in Activa that is reacting with your system!

If you are lactose intolerant, try BioBest.  Its got probiotics and is 90% lactose free.

This is what im currently on (as I am lactose intolerant and do need the probiotics for some medical issues) and while I do react to it, its doing more good then harm :)

I think if it's hurting you, you may just need to stop eating it!  I don't know what else to tell you.  :(
