Weird hair color matching question
« on: September 18, 2012, 10:18:17 PM »
I'm hoping somebody with a number of colors on hand will be able to give me some advice... I need to figure out what hair color would be the closest match to the color of Jack Daniels in the bottle. I don't have any at home atm or I would try to compare photos to a bottle myself, lol.

Uh, off the top of my head I can't think what the colour of Jack Daniels is

But maybe try looking at the nylon hair pictures on mylittlecustoms.com:

This may help you figure out some colours.

I would think Butterscotch or Amaretto from Dollyhair... maybe a blend of the two?

I was thinking a blend of ameretto and pumpkin pie to get the really rich amber color?

Amaretto and pumpkin pie would be pretty too :)  But she's sold out of pumpkin pie :(

Does dollyhair have it in stock? Or Pumpkin spice if there's not too much difference.

I was thinking Amaretto and something else myself. Jack Daniels does look quite vibrant sometimes so I'm kind of thinking Pumpkin Spice might work. If it was blended with the amaretto that would mute it a bit. Hmmmm.

Definitely not Nutmeg. I'm working with a hank right now, and while it's definitely got some gold to it there's no warmth and no amber at all. I actually almost want to say Golden Goddess, but it might still not be amber enough.
