Frustrated

I am more frustrated trying to buy on the Arena - sales become auctions, people just don't write you back, auctions become "best offers" - so I prefer Ebay at this point. I may get sniped, but at least I know I'm in the running.

I don't treat customers like that here.
I prefer the Arena over ebay when ever possible.

time out... there are sniping programs?! lol... I just do it my dang self but it has to be something I REALLY want... most of the time I set my max bid from the start... and sometimes I'll be baited to bid more if someone outbids me long before the auctions end... but I look at it this way, if I were meant to win it I would have... there will be another one eventually... I hate dwelling on it cause then it just bums me out... :cough cough: MOC quackers :cough cough:

Sometimes with Nirvana ponies, I'm scared that there WON'T be another one eventually. Or at least not for a long, long time. And patience isn't usually one of my virtues.

But I usually have a price in mind that I'm willing to pay, and I will jump in and snipe with my maximum at the last minute. I'm afraid if I put it in to begin with, it will just drive the price up very high early in the auction. I dunno if that's logical.

I ended up still losing even after trying to snipe on something I wanted... and she hasn't popped up again, but her price was triple what it should have been cause someone had the money to burn.... I have a really hard time paying double let alone triple a price check on a pony.... no matter how badly I want it... and with nirvana's since they're the last of my pony buying... I don't mind taking my time cause once I have all the ones I want I wont be buying ponies anymore... so might as well drag it out as long as I can.

Yes. The key is to read the feedback on the seller and see how long they have been active on the Arena. I try to leave pretty specific feedback on sellers that I buy from so that it is helpful to other potential buyers.

I feel the same way ,    the last seconds on  a Pony  jumps from $ 110 to $ 179 ???!!!  I did not even bid on it, it was totally out of my range
and they could have bought it on amazon for less than that anyway without having to go through an auction  LOL
good thing is one of the last 2 items  I want .
