Best Way to Open Blind Bags ?

I didn't see a thread regarding this already so I figured I would take a poll.

What is the best way to open G4 blind bags? I want to keep the bags as in tact as possible.

Personally I don't need to even take the cards out. I just need a way to slide the pony back in and out of the bag. (I wish I could just teleport the ponies out if I could lol)

Is it better to do the top, bottom or back? What tools do you use (exacto blade,  scissors, bare hands, etc) ?

I just pull open from the bottom. Most of the time the seam splits pretty easily and cleanly.

I open them from the top and gently hold each side with one hand to pull the two halves of the package apart. I've kept most of my BB bags intact with no rips that way, although sometimes they can be a bit stubborn.  If you just want to get the pony out and not the card you don't even need to fully separate the two sides, just pull it apart enough to slide the pony out.

So one vote for opening at the seams on top and one for bottom. I guess should try both ways and see which works best.

I used to open mine at the top, but the hole for hanging them proved to be a bit difficult.  Now I open them from the middle, you can't even tell the bag's been opened.

How do you try to open it in the middle? I know the potato chip method from the top or bottom, but do you pull it apart or?

I just rip them open.  The idea of keeping the bag never occurred to me, I toss the bag, put the cards in an envelope in my dresser and display only the pony.

I've never kept my bags mint, i just tear them open at the top. I do have a Dollymix bag that I opened carefully though, I slit it down the back spine close and carefully enough that when the plastic is folded down you can't tell.

I keep a few bags from each wave just for a momento,lol. Usually cutting off the top with scissors and sliding the pony/card out works well.

I always try to pull  them apart at the bottom of the bag.
Sometimes it won't work lol

I alwyas open them like a bag of chips I pull each side at the top and open them that way. I'm carefull tho not to rip the whole bag in the process but it doesn't always work =/ So some bags have some rips in them unfortunatly.

I open them at the top because at the moment I have to keep them in the bags. This means I have to take them out, look at what I got and then put them back in. Due to the picture on the bag I keep the bags in upright position and if they were opend in the bottom the ponies would just go sliding out
