My most awesome brag!!! The box I received was from the lovely lochnessmomster! There was so many goodies and everything was so neatly wrapped I was blown away. I spent the entire time squealing with delight!!

Here is my little munchkin, Joseph, pushing the parcel around the living room. He was having so much fun and it was so beautifully wrapped that I let him have a play for a bit while I anticipated opening it! Notice the starry parcel paper..

Starry yummyness, a lovely pink tote bag and cool bag, and a load of Scottish brochures! I've been to Scotland a few times and it is one of my favourite places so these will be very useful!

The pretty earrings were handmade by lochnessmomster! I wish the photo showed them better.

I was overjoyed when I came across the Hamilton collection Glory figure! OMGosh!!!!!!! It sits pride of place in my living room.
G3 Summer Bloom and Rainbowberry (my fave G3!).
2 Cheerilees for my MIB Cheerilee army!, 2 sparkly, starry BBs and earth Glory dollymix!
I also received 2 G1 comics but when I came to put the photos on here I found I didn't have a pic of them.

Yay!!!  I am sooo relieved you like your box, moonflower!  I sent it out a week ago, so I was starting to get nervous.  I can't tell you how excited I was when I saw on the swap thread that you had received your box today. 

Please don't laugh too hard at me over the thimble.  I must have been in outer space with all those stars when I said you could use it for crocheting.  Hopefully you also do a bit of sewing, and if not, oh well... you can just look at it and chuckle when you think of pricking your thumb with a crochet hook. 

It was so much fun to have you as a partner, and again, I'm so glad you like everything.  Seeing stars much? 

P.S.  Oh my goodness, how cute is your son?!!  What did you wind up doing for his birthday?

lol - don't worry - I actually didn't find it odd when you said I could use it for my crocheting as it does involve quite a bit of sewing. I make other things which involve sewing also.

We had a little family party for Joseph which was really lovely and I think he liked all the attention!
He really loves the book with the light up moon!! It was really lovely and thoughtful of you to include things for him - thank you again! *hugs*

Phew, that's a relief!  Goes to show you how much I know about crocheting! 

I'm so glad to hear that your son's first b-day party was a success, and that he had a great time, too. Also happy that he liked the Baby Galileo book.  I couldn't find it brand-new, but it fit the theme and it got really positive reviews from parents (all who said that their kiddos loved the light-up moon at the end).  As a mum, it is such a special gift when people lavish on my children, so it was only natural for me to include some stuff for your boy.  I spoiled him in favour of putting in items for your budgie, although I did toy with the idea of making a star-shaped birdseed cake. In the end I kinda just ran out of time (and space, lol). 

Oh, and about the Bedtime Lullabies CD... Firstly, I had to take off the plastic wrapping because the case arrived with a huge crack in it.  I chose to replace the case even though it meant I had to open it.  Anyway, I figured since I did that, I might as well give it a quick listen to see if it was any good.  The music itself is nice but the woman's voice got on my nerves after a while.  So, fair warning in case you decide to play it for Joseph.

The Hamilton Glory was a complete stroke of luck.  I just happened to notice it at the right time, and the seller was someone I had done business with before, so she made me a good deal.  HC Glory and the TAF Milky Way were the two ponies I found first, and when I realized they both had star symbols, I knew that a theme was born, lol.
