I try to get creative with the pets; some of them are being held, some are on shoulders, and the hefty ones (like Watzit and Shiver) are resting at their mistress's feet :p

I display all my pets too. Sweet Fang sits on Toralei's head and Sir Hoots A Lot is sitting on Ghoulia's arm.

Sometimes I display the pets, sometimes (like currently) I keep them in their box... But with all this talk of them, I think they want to come out again  Especially Roux, totally the cutest!

(Speaking of pets, does anyone have a spare Hissette for trade/sale? I needs! ^^')

A doll with a tail instead of legs! How cool is that?! I imagine when that set comes out, we'll be seeing lots of mermaid customs! I didn't think I'd want either the harpy or the siren, but they look cool enough that I just might want them.

I kinda agree with you on this one. Those wings are super HUGE, maybe a little too huge. But from how it looks, they gave a 2nd pair of wingless hands.

What I'm really wondering is how the mechanism of the tail works. Looks like it could be a huge piece of plastic tail shape with a hinged tail, maybe it'll be bendable/multi-jointed rubber. How would they fit on the torso?

I bet sea monster and werewolf would be the closest matching torso.

I have no words.  These are gonna be so much fun!  I......just......wow!  Seriously, I cannot put together words for how much I love these.  Not what I was expecting!  Way to go Mattel:)

WOW! Harpy girl is SO MUCH WANT right now. I like the siren's face/head but I can do without the big honkin' tail. My Ariel's never stayed in their tails unless they were in the water >.> ok, mattel...add-on torso pack...include LEGS...just sayin'. But it does look pretty awesome. I'm not poo-pooing on the set in general. It's actually an amazing option. I just like legs.

Now I have to look for some purple peacock feathers :3

Do you not get the CAM sets in Oz either? I thought it was just us here in NZ. So lame, eh?
