I don't have much "free" going out time to do it, but when we maybe ever get a car I will totally bring dolls with me almost everywhere.

Especially because it makes my fiance kinda roll his eyes :3c

Another question. Do you guys take your dolls out and about with you like BJD hobbyists tend to do with their dolls?
I have taken them out specifically for on-location photoshoots, but I don't take them with me just when I go out shopping or whatever. I'm too embarrassed to be seen in public with them, even with my daughters around (mostly because I know I wouldn't be able to get away with pretending I was taking a photo of their dolls because they'd make it quite clear to anyone who asked that the dolls belong to me not them).

I recently got sig Operetta, and while I was pleased to find she had plastic hip joints, I was surprised to find that they were different colors. One is white, the other is green. All my other dolls with plastic hips have matching joints. Anyone else have a doll with mismatched hip joints? Just curious really.

I can't help it. I've just got this mental block when it comes to people seeing a grown man playing with little girls' toys.

TBH, I don't blame you. Social stigma for something like that can be a real pain in the rear. It's not so much that people will talk, it's more of what they will say.

I haven't taken the MH girls out myself. I was thinking maybe I should interact with them more. When I get my BJD tinies, they are most certainly going everywhere with me!

Does anyone else have trouble with their GR Draculaura falling over on her stand?  Mine will not stand up on her stand alone.  She has to be leaned against something.  It's irritating because it seems like her stand piece that she is connected to slides down and since her wings are so heavy she falls over.

On another note, her and GR Frankie were my first ever dolls that I deboxed.  Did it this weekend to display in my china hutch for my Halloween/Birthday party.

This is so not on topic, but I wanted to share this with you guys.

I've often wondered what the designers of these dolls were thinking when they put these characters in crazy heels. No teenager wears those high school, right? Wrong, this is the best image I could find of the heels one of my students actually wore to school today.
