Monster High Discussion Thread

Whoa it has been a while since I've been here.
School started again and I haven't been feeling that great lately, so I decided to try and cheer myself up by going to the biggest toystore I know!

I got bummed for not finding any new ponies I wanted. I really want a Lyra. ;_;

However, the following happened!

I went to ToysXL (toystore in the Netherlands) and found this:

I've never seen that shelf so stuffed before! Not so sure what Merida is doing there though, haha.
Anyway, I took a closer look to what they had to offer.

I gave some money to a homeless man I met while going to school this morning. It 'caused me to arrive way too late at school, but oh well! Atleast I made that man's day slightly better (atleast I hope so)!
So I was really glad to find out I had enough money to buy one of them!

They had so many Venus' and only one Robecca!
All of them had very pretty faces too, I did notice something while comparing them though. Some Venus' have really small/narrow eyes?

I bought this pretty lady :3
I ended up choosing one with big eyes because it looked super pretty to me!

Oh and hi everyone!

Yay Venus! I'm getting her this Christmas Hehehe. My brother ordered her off Amazon for me.

OMG Look at all those!! ARE THOSE T-SHIRTS AND 3D STICKERS ABOVE THE CAM LAB?! So many Venuses, she's practically my new favorite character of the group.

Also, I finally came home with the werecat twins!! They're so pretty and perfect and I'm so glad that I was able to grab them back then when I first saw them because when I went back to the MH section, they didn't have any more. XP

And now *deep inhale* I am finally done and can finally rest until 2013. *Relieved sigh*

...INTO THE CLOSET THEY GO! *Gently places them in hidden compartment in closet*

Hi and welcome back! That was very sweet of you to give some money to the homeless man. Hopefully he will spend it on food and not alcohol. My brother has a nice policy that whenever homeless people ask him for money, he says he'll buy them something to eat instead, that way he knows they're not just trying to pay for their drug habit or whatever.

Anyway ... you got a nice looking Venus!

I saw Jackson and Rochelle at one shop today. I wasn't expecting to see them for another month or two if at all. Too bad I already have them both. LOL.

I'm not waiting for Christmas, just hiding them from everyone in the house.

I also like to think of it as a game, the: "Let's-see-how-long-Melody-takes-before-she-cracks-and-opens-all-her-MH-dolls" Game.

My original character is almost done! I placed an order to the last thing she needs today! I can't wait to show her off! I am in love with her face!! She will be like my monster-sona... or is there a better word for that?

Just in case it hasn't been mentioned yet, dragon/werewolf cam sets are coming back into stores with 2 torsos. I just picked one up at Target today.

Hey, so you know how the sig Abbey rerelease supposedly has leg warmers that are different lengths and that don't come down over her boots? I just found one at the shop this afternoon (along with Rochelle and Jackson) and her leg warmers looked to be the same length. When I got her home and out of the box, I found I could get them most of the way down over her boots, too. I wonder if maybe the different length leg warmers are defective rather than on purpose? I will take a pic later.

Out of curiosity, did the original sig Abbey's boots have holes in the bottom? I noticed that they are pretty much the same as Abbey's snowboarding fashion pack boots except that they're all white instead of multi-colored.
