Pony Points: do they hold any value? Does anyone collect them?

Are there any collectors of pony points (that have expired)

I have points from GEN 1, 2 & 3 does anyone collect them? Are they worth trying to sell/trade or should I just toss them?... or rather RECYCLE them?

I think having a few tucked into a scrapbook would be cool...  just to show that they DID in fact, exist.

I saved all of mine for a long time just in case they ever brought the program back, but threw them out about a year ago.  I think I still have one or two G3 pony points tucked away somewhere though, and of course the horseshoe points still on my MOC G1s.

I don't collect them and don't own any but I can say that its always nice to have the representation of them in your collection especially with G1 and G2.  Not sure G3 will hit a value until after I pass away from this earth LOL.

I would keep them if I had any, I wonder if Hasbro will bring those points back for G4, and some exclusive ponies that have something special.

I dont think they ever really had any value and unfortunately I dont think they hold any anymore but for the sake of a collection I think they are a super cool thing to still have

I'd put them in a scrapbook or on a bulletin board or something. Man, my someday pony room is SO going to have a bulletin board.  If you really don't want them, maybe you could slip them in as silly freebies next time you do a trade or sale with somebody. Or heck, maybe somebody will by them for nostalgic value?
