So Soft Newborn Pinkie Pie

I have recently bought a second hand So Soft Newborn Pinkie Pie.  She is from 2006. 

After looking at the number reference and looking this up on Hasbro's website it states that Pinkie Pie should:

"Feed pony her bottle, or press her
foot — she talks, sings and makes
baby sounds! Includes pony figure
and bottle."

My Pinkie pie makes baby sounds and feeding sounds but doesnt talk or sing? 

I have checked the inside to make sure there are no different settings i.e.demo mode.  Still no joy.

Does anyone have any tips?

I don't know much about the G3 softies, the only thing I can think of is a demo mode, which it seems there is none on her?

i have several of the so  softs.  i even have a couple pinkie  pies.  the make me better  and hte regular maybe ic an help? is  she the one tha has the little buton in her  mouth that if you  push  she makes the  bottle  noises and burps and says yum and stuff? i also have one that doesnt have that bottle. 

my pinkie pie when you push her   hoof  says i think  6 or 7 different things.  she does the lalala to the mlp  tune  and says thinks like i love you mommy, and pinkie pie tired. and i have a booboo  and just over and oveer.  the only   one i have that acutly "sings"  is  starsong   the only   sining the others do is humming a  few  things. just keep pushing  her hoof.  oh and hav eyou changed out her batterys?

That is odd...I thought they all talked and made the noises - perhaps I am wrong though and there was a release that didnt talk although I cant remember that being the case. It sounds silly but I would perhaps try something as innocuous as a battery change just in case.

Oh I havent heard of a fakie which is so close in likeness and just differs in sound - do you have more information thats really interesting
