Pony targets

I was wondering, whilst updating my ponydex, do any of you have collecting 'targets' or goals...maybe you want that special/elusive pony or you've vowed to complete a certain set in a set time.

I've got a different challenge for myself: I want to have 400 ponies by the end of this year. I have 217 at the moment.

Not sure if it's even achievable but I'm going to give it a go

Wishful Goal - every single G1 pony from US/Euro line complete and with accessories [one day ]

More Likely to Perhaps, Maybe Achieve Goal - to find and own that dang orange great hair bow before we ring in the bells for 2013

Cat yeah the hair thing is more doable...but I don't know what ponies you still need for your collection. those hair things are....not so easy to find lol

My goal is to recreate my childhood collection, but I keep seeing other ponies I love! So my other goal is to keep my collection manageable.

The ponies I have [although upgrades are required of course for some] - its some missing accessories that frustrate me ...I am not that far of the wishful goal but some things I am beginning to decide are just not going to appear on the market lol!

Maybe a more achievable goal would be to organise things to see what I am actually missing

Since my pony budget is rather thin, at this rate any G1 I don't already have (and can find in the thrift stores) is my target.

When I first say the title of this thread, I took it literally. Like, the idea of someone using ponies as target practice. LOL. I was like.....how can you do that? Heh.

Or worse.....someone using Rapunzel as gun practice. Can you imagine the horror! I'm sure some crazy collectors would dive in to shield her and preserve her life, being as how rare she is.

Hrm, I want to make sure my collection is a manageable size (working on it!) and that it can be easily transported in a hurry. I used to have White Windy as a goal and I finally found one, or at least a white as she's going to get!

I actually thought someone had found old merch from the eighties, and it was paper targets you could put on your dartboard with ponies on them. Then I wondered why on earth Hasbro would produce those.

What I don't already have is in my want list in my signature, but I'm sure if I get all of those I'll find some more to want. Also I'm keeping up with the G4 brushables so I don't have to pay stupid e-bay prices and get them later.
