So now I guess I am officially outing myself that I can "pull a rabbit out of a hat" = or a fast custom - less than a week - when "needed".

and then my second daughter (6) says "Mom I want a vaporeon custom - can you help me?"
How can I refuse my kids?
I did the white sculpey sculpting/baking for each.

She then did all the "bling" and the painting. I applied the angelina film and heated it over the wires, and then she put the glitter glue over top of everything. For the wings, I gave her the felt, the pipe cleaners and feathers and she made the wings herself after I showed her how to use the hot glue gun, and I only had to intervene once for an "ouch" moment... (yes that was nerve wracking for me)
I am one proud momma to say "wow - she's 8" I think I love most that she drew her idea and followed it = something I struggle with to keep focused on a project to this very day.
Now here's a pony-fied version (waterfire bait) Glittery Vaporeon

The Vaporeon is more a collaborative custom admittedly, but I was glad I was able to complete sculpting "good enough" by her standards in a few hours that she had a great rest of the day doing painting and focusing on getting the face "just right" and definitely all glittery

Oh = and just so you know = sparkly vaporeon won ;-)
so here's my runner-up that I will re-name Alura (she was "midnight kiss" at the meet because I had not yet named her and that's the only thing that came to mind (??) = boy am I glad I had nine months to think of all my kids names as I can only imagine what they would be if I had to think up things at the last minute!)

so there's my official end to the summer :-) thanks for reading all :-)
