Forum owners, what host do you use?

Some of my friends and I run our own forum. It is a roleplaying site with about 50 members. We use SMF like the arena. Lately, especially we've been having trouble with our webhost saying we use too much CPU. Does anyone here run a forum and how do you host it? I'm taking any ideas and suggestions I can get.

I had a forum and used Phpbb. I liked it okay. I don't know how much bandwidth and space it used up though -because I used it years ago, and the versions are probably newer/bigger now.

I thought Phpbb was the software, and not a hosting site?  I could be wrong...

I have never gone through the process of getting hosting for a forum, sorry.
