Show off your skeletons!!!

I got my swatches the other day, and I attempted to make wigs out of 2 colors. They seem alright but they have like a sag in the back where there is extra fabric. I was thinking of glueing the fur to the head instead (I made a post asking how to go about it without getting wrinkles and lumps). Anyway anyone who's successfully made a wig please show them off. I would love to see.

I finished my skellie's repaint. I shaded her body so it looks more like old bone and not white plastic, but it doesn't read very well in photos. I'm not sure I am going to give her hair. I kind of like her bald. I just hate that hard cap.

I airbrushed black on the section, then wiped off the paint, it left black/dark grey in the crevices and it looks even better in person. Then on the torso and skull, I airbrushed very faintly in the places where I thought there would be shadows. I will try to get better pix sometime.

Dude - me too!! I avoided buying her for the longest time... but as soon as I got her, I fell in LOVE. She is awesome.

My skeleton needs a name! I'm so lucky, I finally found a skeleton CAM pack at Toys R Us on a special trip 400 miles to the nearest one. It was the only one left.


I always wanted one because I could leave her bald. The idea of a skeleton with hair is strange, so I never intended to get her hair. However, after I got her I realized she needed a little more color.

I happened to have some yarn sitting around where the bright pink matched the pink on her sweatshirt, so I shoved yarn through her wig headhole until no more would fit, tied it into a knot and pulled it all the way back.

Now she's bald, but with some kind of hair plug she gave herself for a splash of color. I used to have a D&D character with a shaved head save for a ponytail, so I LOVE the way this turned out.

For the one that asked, if you don't have an airbrush, you can sponge or dry brush it on.

For the one that asked, if you don't have an airbrush, you can sponge or dry brush it on.

Also, you can water down your paint and it will trickle down into the crevices nicely.
