I've come to realize that I only really like dolls with some kind of animal or fantasy parts. I adore my centaur, assorted felines, and robot. I'm not in love with my human MSD at all, partly due to size I think but also just because she bores me a bit.

^    This made me think too.   I really love everything and contemplate new bjd all the time.  But it's only  centaurs, steampunk and costume themes that make me actually open my wallet.

I can totally relate to that. I love all things fantasy. All my dolls must be special in a way and I prefer with fantasy parts of some sort. Not all of them have that, but they are special in other ways like my pixxie with her big head and funny little body, my Leekeworld Bonnie has that art body with the huge hips and stuff. She looks so big even though she is a MSD ^^. My LY Coco is normal but has the most beautiful faceup and smile.

Oh the marketplace is a dangerous place. I've gotten some great deals there though.

I just can't believe how MANY dolls there are @_@ There are definitely some great deals though, and some really nice oppurtunities for parts if you can't buy something all at once

Rhini - true. I just found a head I want. Of course it's the wrong color for the bodies I have, but still. I'm tempted to get it anyways.

If you're patient it shouldn't be too hard. I've been lucky and 2 of my MP purchases have been from local sellers. Saved me some money
