TRU messed up my order!

I ordered a deluxe train set and instead they sent me the Pinkie pie train set, yet they still charged me for the deluxe set. I'm worried if I take it to the store they won't accept it because it's the wrong item.

Last time I ordered from TRU online they didn't put my apt # on the box so the post office had to return it and I was still charged for shipping. :\

I would contact Hasbro first!

 It was their mistake!

Well, actually it's TRU's mistake, I'd call them first to tell them they sent the wrong item and they should tell you what to do. At the least they can tell your local store to expect you with the wrong item for exchange or they may send you the right one and give you a return label for the wrong one.

Wow, that's really lame :c.  Sorry to hear that they did that to you.  I hope your able to work it out and hopefully get the item you'd like without any extra charge.

I agree with the rest. Contact TRU, tell them you ordered something and they sent something else. They should permit a return or exchange with the local store.

I am going to agree with the rest, your best bet is to contact TRU.  They will be able to better direct you on how to handle the return.

I would assume though since it was their mistake that you will not be expected to pay return shipping. And if not I would raise HE Double Hockey Sticks!

I also got the wrong item when I ordered the Deluxe Train set from TRU online though in my case they sent me a Chuggington train set instead  :blink: I called them up and they sent me the correct item (it just came today!), in my case they sent me a prepaid ups label to ship the other train set back to them. Hopefully they will be able to sort things out quickly for you.

Same thing happened to me. Received the Pinkie Pie set, but everything (item #, price) showed the three-pony/car set. The new ones are on the way (let's see what's in the box before we get too excited) and they didn't want me to send back to old ones "since they're under $20". ($19.99--didn't they used to be $25?). So you should be able to get it taken care of easily. (By now they've gotten enough complaints, they should know exactly what to do LOL)

Sorry to hear you received the wrong set   -  seems TRU have a habit of messing up orders lately  :(
Hopefully they should sort it out pretty fast though, if you call them as the others already suggested :hug:

With you paid invoice you shouldn't have any trouble getting this fixed.  The hassle will be unavoidable though...
