TRU Favorites Question

To anyone who got the Favorites Collection (pack with Nightmare Moon), have you noticed anything odd about some of the ponies' hair? The blue-haired ponies (DJ PON3, Trixie, the yellow one with the name I forgot) seem to have different textured hair almost. It's hard to explain, but it feels a little coarser, and has an almost metallic sheen to it, if that makes sense. Like it's slightly glossier than the other ponies' hair. Am I the only one who noticed this, or have others seen it, too? Thanks!

I noticed that too! I don't know why it is. But it does seem different than other pony hair.

Yep, I noticed it too. You can definitely tell there is a difference in hair between the TRU Trixie and the regular one.

I noticed that too!  I don't have a comparison shot, but it does seem slightly metallic and the texture feels different- don't really know how to describe it

I noticed it as well! I think the hair looks coarse and a bit cheap actually. Here's pics of mine compared to other ponies, but it's hard to tell the difference in the pictures.

I tried taking some pics, too. It's pretty hard to photograph, actually, becuase it's something that you feel more than see. Plus, these are kinda cruddy iPod Touch pics, so please excuse that!

Nope, and my Dewdrop has perfect hair.

I honestly think... it's of higher quality. It feels soft & silky... much more so than the regular G4s... and no where NEAR as dry as some of them regular brushables have felt coming out of the box...

And... I also like the "shimmer" and "sheen" it has... makes for much more interesting hair than the regular single ponies...

At least... IMHO...

i think it gets frizzy easily so be careful for those who like to comb their ponies hair a lot

I've got Star Catcher on the way to me, so when she gets here I'll definitely have to compare the hair. And it seems frizzier already, so I'll have to watch it!

Not sure if it feels cheaper, just a bit more... heavy duty. Which isn't necessarily bad, because sometimes I feel like the g4s have very thin and whispy hair.

Lemony Gem is gorgeous. It makes me sad that they gave her such awful hair.
