Want to see the ponies I bought and help me with ID?

I bought these last night and the total will be $27 for 8 ponies.  I am really new at this, so please tell me if I did ok and tell me who the ponies are if you know.  I looked at some sites and I think I figured out Galaxy, Windy, Hula and I can't find that green pony at all.  I can't wait to get them and clean them up.

You've got Galaxy (Twinkle Eye), Glory (white unicorn), Sunbeam (green unicorn), Hula Hula (boat), Windy (rainbow), DJ (blue dancer), Twirler (pink dancer), and Sugar Sweet (cotton candy). Not a bad haul! Most of them look like they should clean up without much difficulty.

Thank you.  I can't tell exactly, but it looks like the blue one might be missing her tail.  So, what exactly do the dancer ponies do?  I'm guessing their tails spin or something.  I'm also guessing they usually don't work anymore.

I'm not sure exactly what they do, but I think you twist the knob on their chest. I don't actually own any Dance n Prance ponies (yet). And yeah, it seems that the mechanisms, like the Happy Tails and Brush n Grow ponies, are prone to breakage, if only because of age and years of play. It's nice to have ponies whose mechanisms still work, but sometimes all you need is for them to display well.

yes you  twist the knob  and there tails spin round and round.   i  acutly have seen tons that still work.

Once you turn the knob on their chest, put the pony on a flat surface and she will "dance" around - hence the name

That looks like a nice lot and there are lots of cleaning tips on the sticky at the top of the forum

Oh, "Helpful Cleaning Tutorials"!  Very good.  I have been Googling things, but I never even saw that.  So, the reason I couldn't find Sunbeam listed is because I was looking under "green ponies" and apparently she is really blue? I will also have to figure out if there is a way to make the white unicorn white again instead of yellow.  Thanks everyone--off to read the tutorials.

Glory will be easy.  Cover her hair with foil, eyes/ tush marks with painters tape.  Park her in the sun for a while.  Don't forget to flip her periodically.  Funny, I just finished repainting symbols on a Glory.

You can post in the Corral as well with a specific "suggestions" for cleaning kind of thread...people usually have the most amazing suggestions.

I would go with "aqua" for Sunbeam lol! That covers all bases!

Magic Eraser usually cleans ponies up really well.

Oh yeah, they're all unicorns.  I didn't even notice that before.  What good "Ponysense" you all have.

I don't think DJ's tail is missing. I can see a bit of the plastic covering the dance and prance ponies have at the base of the tail. They just have small tails and its flipped up. The tail spins thus moving them a few centimeters on a flat surface. Totally unimpressive but fun. They're basically surface clean ponies unless you want to risk taking apart.
