mysterious g1 unicorn...(it's just a weird Gusty - ignore me! xD)

Was just looking at MLP VHS tapes and I noticed the unicorn on the front cover of this one:-

It is a white unicorn with green and pink striped hair and musical notes on her rump. Just thought I would share as I love finding unreleased G1 pony characters and oddities!

She reminds me a bit of DJ Pon-3. What do you think she should be named?

Ignore me! Even though I had zoomed in on the image the first time, it was just low-res and the symbol looked like musical notes. It is just Gusty with different hair!

That is actually not that uncommon to have a pony that was not released or combining features to make one.  I know I have at least two G1 flyers had inconsistency on released ponies.

Ooh she is pretty. Though if you zoom in it looks like her symbol is supposed to be leaves of some kind - my guess is that she's a badly done Gusty, since she was in the movie and all. On a side note, I've never seen that version of the cover before. Interesting!

Doh! I just had another look and this time the image loaded up in better quality and it is just Gusty. xD *face palm*

I can understand why you wouldnt see it was her at first - looks like she got a dye job in time for shooting the cover! All that pink!
