Heard about this wonderful forum through the MLP facebook group and thought i'd check it out. 

Let's see, I'm 30 and am from CO, USA.  I'm a stay-at-home mom to a daughter, son, and dog lol .  The most important things in my life are my husband and kids. my mom and sister. the dog. my friends. and my collections of course.  I was born the same year MLP was started and yet didn't discover them until I was about 10 or so I think.  I don't know how many and who I had then, but all I have left from that point in my life is my Baby Cuddles and an extreme love of G1 ponies.  Then like 4 yrs ago, I got some G3s: Pinky Pie, Scoot-a-Loo, Star Catcher, Minty, and I know i'm forgetting some.  During this time, most of my ponies were kept in my daughter's room as she enjoyed playing with them.  And they ended up being taken by a neighbor's daughter who came to play one day.  She moved just 2 days after taking them, before I discovered they were gone.  I was really upset about the loss of my ponies (childish and embarrassing I know lol) and I took out my upset by giving up collecting for a while.  Last year, I finally gave in and went back to collecting.  And have a nice tall shelf to display my ponies out of the kids' reaches now (and I give the ponies I don't like to my daughter to play with so no hard feelings if something happens to them).  Currently, I have several G1 ponies and plushies.  1 G2 pony (don't really care for that mold). And G3s.
I also enjoy collecting music boxes.  And have a small American Girl Collection.

Hello there!  Welcome to the Arena!  I don't have kids yet, but I am 28 and I mainly collect G1, G3 and G4.  I also don't really care for the G2s.  I would have been upset, too, if someone had taken my child's toys - especially if they were my favorite ponies!  The Arena is a great place and I think you'll fit right in!  Once again, welcome!
