Same here.  I really wanted Chocolate Delight, and I was about to go out and buy her and everything and I saw that big gaping hole. It makes NO sense IMO.

I know.  I've been starting to collect G2s, and some of the otherwise prettiest G2 characters are not attractive, IMO, because of their "Magic Motion" feature. I do have the G1 Brush N' Grow ponies, most from my childhood, but they look ok as long as you put them in a neutral pose.

Exactly. Once the pony is made to 'do' something, the manufacturer is dictating the way the toy 'should' be played with and limiting its use. Not cool!
