Lyra, Trixie, Sunny, & Cherry...only one box? Now we're back to the mane 6...

So for fun I checked Target today, and after ONE box of Lyra & co, we're back to the wedding mane 6. I wonder why that is? So I guess this is a heads up to anyone looking for them after their stores have sold out. :/

I've been trying to get Lyra and Trixie for a while now and they're always the ones cherry picked from the new assortment...

Seriously Hasbro? We finally get some more variety, but then they bring back the same old...  I still haven't seen this wave here. (And I suppose that once it does, it'll get snapped up real quick.)

I was curious about that...

I was at ONE Target I've seen these ponies at (they only had Sunny Rays and Cherry... but I snagged them both!), and rather than restocking their ponies with more Trixie & Co... the section was FULL of wedding Mane 6 ponies...

They also had a box of Wave 3 ponies... alongside a box of Wave 1. Last time I was there... the Wave 3 box was already there... so they ADDED a Wave 11 box...

It just seemed to me like they were taking a step backwards...

Ditto here too. There are more than enough main 6 wedding around here. In fact there are to many. Neither Target or Walmart around were I live got any of Lyra and friends.

I haven't seen the new wave and I find that a bit odd.
I went to ToysRus the other day and they just stocked about 40 wedding pony's.... 
I'm really surprised that I didn't see one.

Still nothing but empty shelf pegs and lots of Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy's.  If anyone wants to trade for a FS Rainbow Dash, I know where to go...

I still haven't seen Sunny Rays anywhere, and I only spotted the rest of them *once* at one Target.

I really hope that Hasbro stocks these girls.

Yup. Seen Cheery ONCE. And was really perplexed when I saw her.
"What are you doing here with all of these Mane 6 ponies... are you lost?"

Hmmm...its certainly more than possible that Wave 9 is going to be a re release of Wave 7 playful ponies. I havent seen or received have any confirmation of that but it certainly follows the right pattern as after all all previous waves have included 2 to 4  re-releases of previously released main 6 so maybe the next wave is simply all of them released again.

It would also explain the fact we havent spotted or had leaked any "new" ponies for the next wave. So far we have known about the next wave before the previous one hit shelves.

I've seen this happen several times before in the G3 line and in the G4 line. Don't worry, give it a month or so and the reverse will be true - the new 4 will be all over the place and the main 6 will be out numbered

That's exactly what has happened with the travelling/luggage ponies here. I've seen many of the mane 6, but just 3-4 Diamond Roses and Cherry Pie's in total in all the stores I've been to.
