Old News???

My old TRU got in a case of Wave 3 Blind Bags, not sure if other TRU have already had them or is this is new for them.  First time my old place got in something other then wave 1.

If old news carry on, if new have fun hunting.

I think most people seem to only have found Wave 1 in TRU in the US at the moment so hopefully that means Wave 3 have been stuck in TRU warehouse/DCs for a while - just waiting for Wave 1 to end and therefore those still looking can track them down!

Wave 2 (purple bags with a house on the front) were only released outside of the US and are past now. Very hard to find at all.
Wave 3 (dark purple bags with little luggage icons in the background) were released outside the US and are past now, and then were released in the US in late July/early August and most places have sold-out of them and moved on to Wave 4 only. A few places still have Wave 3 stock, and they are easier to find from other people too.
Wave 4 (blue bags) is what most places in the US are receiving now (unless they had their own stockpile of older waves somewhere, which seems to be the case with Kmart only getting Wave 1 so far).
Wave 5 (yellow bags) started coming out in Europe earlier this month. No known release date for the US.

I posted this in the other thread, but my TRU also got 2 boxes of the Wave 3 (Wave 2 U.S.) purple blind bags in today!

They also had in 2 of Sweetie Belle's ice cream car, which I thought was a past release/hard to find?

I found Wave 3 at a TRU about a month ago. I grabbed all the ones I wanted which was all, but two ponies. I haven't seen them at a TRU since. D: I am so glad you were able to find them! Congrats!

This is good news for me at least I am still looking for over 1/2 of wave 3 or purple wave and the Walmart near me got none in after I bought the last few and just got in wave 4 (now they are sold out again, thanks to me). They might not get another wave 3 or 4 for nearly a month because that how long it took them to restock this time around. Even if TRU is a little more to finish getting what I need I will buy there. Plus right now they are soing  buy 1 get something else 40% off (for how long I do not know). Hopefully the rearranged shelves and new name tags means wave 3 will be there the next time I go along with other new ponies.
