World of Warcraft

I've been doing a lot of checking up on World of Warcraft, and I've decided to give it a go. Signed up for the Starter Edition, but other than that, I'm completely lost!

I would like to play on a realm where I have friends playing, but none of my friends play, so if anypony here would like to play with me, just tell me what realm you're on Also, I can't decide what race or class I want to be. Rogue or Shadow Priest would suit me, I think, but what race? I've been looking at Trolls and Gnomes, and I would like to have Engineering as a profession. The Troll raptor mounts are awesome, but Gnomes have higher Intellect (which would be good for a Priest) and + on their Engineering skill.

Actually, I'm thinking about a Gnome Rogue. Small, quick, stealthy - deadly.
Now I just need to find a realm to play on. Nobody here who'd like me on their server? :/

Oh gawd, be careful.  That game will suck you in so fast!    My husband used to play to the point where I was miserable.  So he bought me the game and I played for over 3 years!  I don't even like video games that much but I loved WoW.  I had several toons, but my two favorites were both Tauren - a hunter and a druid.  The hunter was my main and I loved her!  Mostly, I liked being able to have a pet.  I played other classes now and then, but always went back to my hunter.

If I still played, I'd totally help you level.  But it's been a couple years since I quit, I just couldn't afford the $15/month anymore.  I had been playing Hyjal and it was a good server for progression, but really heavily populated.

Good luck choosing!  You can always play several toons until you decide.
