Poor Trixie.
« on: August 17, 2012, 09:05:08 PM »
Recently got Fan Fave collections at TRU.

All my other ponies were nice and pretty.

But not Trixie.

Her head is pushed back, making her head not sit correctly on her neck, making it look really weird. Aand she has one of those dents in her chest like others were talking about, and she has really bad plastic seams, not to mention she is missing a hair plug in the back.

I know there is a thread about this, but did anyone else get a pony THIS bad from it?

Not in the favorites collection, but I just got my white talking Celestia in the mail and a whole row of her hair and half of the one below it is missing plugs! I'm generally willing to forgive small flaws but that's pretty ridiculous. I'm not sure if I want to bother harassing the Hasbro people. I've got so much on my plate right now I don't know if I want to deal with a return... arg.

Thats such a shame :(

Most of the G4s I have purchased have had some kind of issue - but so far they have been minor or fixable and I have accepted the price point of the item I am purchasing will unfortunately occasionally have production and quality issues.

A missing plug is pretty common - all generations right from the 80s have seen such things. You could replug with some new hair and the dents can be fixed with warm water - maybe that will improve her a little.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

That's awful about Celestia.  :(

I'll probably try the hot water to fix Trixie's dent, thanks.

My Trixie in the Fav Collection had a similar problem, though she wasn't missing any plugs. I was able to remove the dents by dipping her in boiling water (>__<), but that didn't fix her slightly "tilted" head. It's not really noticeable, in fact since I've styled her hair, I can't even see it, but her head has a slight tilt that makes her kind of cute :P

My Favorites Collection Trixie also has a tilted head and her eye on that side is also slightly lower than the one on the other side, lol.
