As for mistakes, I made the mistake of using Apple Barrel sealant when I first began making customs - it made them so sticky you could catch flies with them. ><

I think that's something I tried once too and it was catching dust from the air it was so tacky. Thank you for sharing. *marks that off list of supplies ever*)Hyenacub-- >_O ouch! But at least you were able to fix the custom. Lame joke, but maybe it had allergies!
I had that issue too, you need to use pure acetone to remove all the paint. Ive also had issues with the paint cracking off, and that was due to not washing the lotion off the sculpted bits. Always learning. So if you use lotion to sculpt, make sure you wash it off thoroughly before painting.
