Are G3 babies rare?

I found one at s thrift store the other day for 45 cents, and I was just curious if I got anything rare or htf!

She's is yellow with a sail boat cutie mark

I don't think she is really rare, but I would expect any of the G3 babies to go for at least $5

Well... they are "rare" in that they didn't make many different ones. Not like the "adults"... there were TONS of different adults.. only two different "baby" poses... (four if you count the one offs of Mochanut and the other "little sister"...)

I wish they had made more poses for the babies! They are adorable!

Yeah she is a little harder to find, but she was also used in a bonus set from overseas which is how we got ours.

I'm so out of the loop, I didn't even know G3 made baby ponies. I've never seen any before! They're definitely cute and may have me rethinking my no-G3 rule

Agreed!! Collecting each and every baby was one of the most fun things for me in my G3 collecting days!

G3 Surf Star (the yellow baby with the sail boat) is indeed hard to find! Especially in the US! She was initially only released in a 3-pony set overseas, and in the US in later years came as a bonus with one of the big playsets.

I love the G3 babies and the Christmas/Winter themed ones seem to bring the highest amounts the rest are reasonable if not the same as they cost in the store.  They are lots of fun to collect.  I almost have all of them. I am missing the expensive ones now and one that isn't so expensive. I really want Winter Ice badly.  Maybe have to buy her for myself some day soon I guess.

Surf Star is hard to find. Most G3 babies aren't, but she is. Congrats!

As others have said most G3 babies are not that hard to find and oddly not that popular on the second hand market if the number that largely go unsold on ebay are any indication. Surf Star is perhaps the toughest of the bunch to track down but she ll still only be around the $5 mark. Mind you on 45cents thats a good profit
