Delay in TRU Favorites Collection! Ugh! Talked to TRU rep on page 2

Went to TRU last night and they had two of the favorites set. I'm due to get mine in the mail tomorrow though so I didn't pick one up. They had no Zecoras or stickers for Zecora either. Hopefully they'll get her soon!

I didn't see Lyra and the others, but I did pick up the scooter set with Rarity and Daisy Dreams and the BB wedding set

All of the TRUs I've checked haven't even had stickers for Zecora or the Fav Collection. I think you guys on the West Coast somehow got them earlier than you were supposed to. Have any East Coasters found either set yet?

I got the fave collection last week from the store here in Texas. No sign of Zecora yet at my local tru.

Wow thats really frusterating! I hope it gets worked out soon.

I am on the west coast and got the set and Zecora but there was no price stickers for either at any of the stores we saw them in and got them at.

Yay, just got a confirmation email that they are processing my zecora order!

According to my order status, the free fav set is expected to arrive today, but the one I paid for says "You can expect to receive your item(s) between 08/27/12 and 08/29/12". At least it updated!

I got the notice that my Zecora will be shipping soon!!   

My Favorites Collection is still on back-order.  If they cancel it, they'll be hearing from me, because I got in on the BOGO and it would be real shady of them to cancel that order like that to force me to pay full price.

I'm in central Indiana and one of the TRU's here had the Favorites set for a very short time.  To my knowledge, we haven't seen Zecora in the stores yet though.

It's possible TRU are removing the product tags when the items are out of stock if they either don't have any more on order, or the order has been placed on hold by Hasbro.

Got my Nightmare Moon set today, same issue with the box! Huge box, one piece of tape that was holding it had come apart and you could see right into the box! Everything was okay though... now the night will last FOREVER!!!!!!!!!

(on a non-evil note, TRU really SUCKS and I'm sorry for anyone who didn't get their pre-order. If I happen to see any at my store, I will scoop them up. So far nothing though)

Uh, it's the manufacturer's problem that YOUR processing centers are shipping stock to stores before fulfilling pre-orders? o_O Yeah, that makes sense TRU...

Okay gang - time to chill I was able to get the SKN today and there is a HUGE open order for my regions DC alone, plus I imagine that the other DC's will have similar open orders.  To honest with the size of the order for our DC alone we could take care of every collector posting here five times over.  Our DC alone is expecting over 2,000.  So yeah chill time gang.

So I would take a deep breath and give your TRU a break till next week and then you can start calling and asking if they got them in.  When you do call, give them this SKN 802180 and they can check.

Also someone asked why the shelf tag was no longer there.  We are supposed to leave them so we can mark they are out of stock but not everyone follows that rule.  Also if other new merchandise came in they might have just ditched so they would have room to put it.

The reason the box is so big is that we only have certain size boxes.  So if that is the closet size they can find that it fits in that is what they ship in.  They will then fill with air packs.   All stores are now set up to ship from store, so if online is out of something and we are the closet store to have it in stock we ship it out.  So we get an assortment of boxes which for most part do not fit anything well and often have to do the same thing, use a huge box to ship something out.

Nah we take photos when it is really bad and joke other times, then figure out how to get the stuff off the truck so we can stock it out.

Gosh, I hope so, Diamond.   We had two on order (one for me and one for my husband), and they sent us the WRONG items.  Talk about a very unhappy unboxing.      

Since the item number was removed from TRUs website, and the store couldn't find the item either, we just had to return them and get refunds- no exchange possible.   So I have been trolling our local TRU, with no luck.  Now that there is at least a SKU I have hope that I might be able to snag one without resorting to ebay.
